Assignment1::TYPOGRAPHIC COMPOSITIONS::

Using only letters create six different compositions.

Each of the compositions should illustrate one of the principles of design. Explore your typographical options.

Chose one typeface to work with.

Use the letters only in solid black and do not skew, cut, or otherwise manipulate the shape of the letters.

Think through the compositions using thumbnails. Have at least three different thumbnails for each composition.

Each composition should be 6" X 6", trim your pages to this dimension. Write a few sentences explaining how the compositions illustrate their corresponding principles.
(an example illustrating axis using the letters "L" and "V" )

5 compisitions will be made digitally- 1 composition is to be made with paper.

Print out all compositions. Bring 6 compositions to class.
