Clinical Work

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of New York (#016520). I received my Ph.D in clinical psychology in 2000 from the University of California , Los Angeles . My clinical experiences working with immigrant and ethnic minority populations in urban (NYC, Boston , LA ) and rural settings ( Appalachia ) have given me an appreciation of how structural, cultural, and individual factors influence mental health.  At present, I have a small private practice affiliated with the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy where I specialize in working with adults and adolescents struggling with depression and anxiety, behavioral problems, family violence, and issues related to acculturation, diversity issues, and identity development.
