Age discrimination in employment exists, and in some fields starts very early. What can you do about it? This workshop will present tools to help you make your chronological age a non-issue in employment decisions by (1) leveraging your previous experience, (2) identifying appropriate employers and opportunities, (3) accessing non-traditional career paths, and (4) focusing on what makes an employer want to hire you: critical competencies, absolute currency in your field, change-hardiness, energy. It will also help you to handle illegal age-related interview questions and job applications, and to create your “presentation age.” This workshop, led by Carol R. Anderson, Director of Career Development and Placement at the Milano Graduate School, will help you answer these and other related questions.

Enrollment limited to 25.
Please RSVP to 229-5386, Naomi Spencer x1100.
