Scholarship Opportunities

The Sallie Mae Fund is offering various scholarships for students with financial need, Hispanic-Americans, African-Americans, and children of victims of the 911 terrorist attacks. Applications and specific criteria information can be found online at www.thesalliemaefund.org. Deadlines for applications are May 1, 2004.

The Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship is a highly competitive and large award offered to applicants who will eventually be working toward a PHD degree. If you are a junior, who hopes to attend graduate school, you should be considering this award now. All application materials for 2005-2006 are due December 1, 2004.
