Jim Browne is a film programmer, producer and filmmaker who has been programming film & video in New York since 1988. He has programmed for Performance Space 122, The Pioneer Theater, the Imagine Festival of Arts, Issues & Ideas, Chashama, Freddy's Back Room, Barbes, and more;he has also shown and programmed films for international festivals. His latest project is the Films To See Before You Vote Tour, which is currently touring in 14 of the battleground states. He is the Director of Theatrical Distributionfor Plexifilm, a new independent DVD label and independent film studio based in Brooklyn.
