Talbots Women’s Scholarship Fund
Talbots will award up to 55 scholarships. Five women will be awarded $10,000 each and 50 women will be awarded $1,000 each. Only applicants seeking a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university are eligible to receive a $10,000 award. Awards are one-time only and not renewable. General Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must 1) be women currently residing in the US; 2) have earned a high school diploma or GED on or before September 1995; 3) be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full- or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational school; 4) be attending the full 2005-2006 academic year and receiving a degree no earlier than May 2006; and 5) have at least two semesters (24 credit hours or more) remaining to complete an undergraduate degree as of the beginning of the 2005 fall academic term. Students who have previously obtained a bachelor’s degree are not eligible to apply. Deadline: Applications must be submitted by January 3, 2005 or until the first 1,000 eligible applications have been received.
