TRUE ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP

Location: NEW YORK CITY, NY

Term: SUMMER 2005 SEMESTER

Description: ''A Baby Story'' (an emmy-winning documentary series airing on The Learning Channel) is looking for interns to assist series producers in field, in the office and edits, during the fall 2004 semester.

Responsibilities will include logging footage, selecting soundbytes for scripts, acting as a production assistant on shoots, obtaining releases, labeling tapes, setting up equipment and posting casting flyers.

Interns will be exposed to all parts of the production process. Past interns have had the chance to make preliminary phone calls to screen and cast potential couples, and shoot second camera while out in the field.

Requirements: Applicants MUST be able to receive school credit for the internship. Applicants should be willing to work at least 2 days a week. Some knowledge of production is strongly recommended, including production courses or past television production internships.

Hours: FULL TIME or PART TIME (Typically 10am 6pm)

Salary: Unpaid
