Internship Opportunity

From City Stage Film Production Center:

We are currently looking for 2 interns to fill positions at our entertainment production facility. We have 25,000 square feet (a 5-floor building) in Chelsea divided into 3 soundstages with 2 floors of office space.

We provide soundstages with lighting, grip, and dolly equipment and expendables to entertainment companies. Our client base: HBO, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, feature film and commercial companies.

Intern Responsibilities:

  • To assist the director of operations in sales, billings, collections, equipment and stage scheduling, and coordination of staff within the facility.

  • To assist the stage managers with the film shoots that arrive (prep lighting equipment and service the clients).

  • To assist our bookkeeper with the building paperwork.


Note: A lot of the work will be hands-on (working with lighting and grip equipment), so the intern should be comfortable with the physical work.

What we require:
At least 2-3 full days a week. The intern must be motivated, friendly, quick on his/her feet, and interested in the film industry.

We will offer to cover transportation and lunch for the days present.
