National Undergraduate Conference on Ethnicity and Race at Eugene Lang College, 3/31-4/1

New School Core Faculty members Tracyann Williams and Michelle Materre are facilitating a roundtable discussion for the upcoming National Undergraduate Conference on Ethnicity and Race at Eugene Lang College on Friday, March 31 - April 1, 2006. Co-sponsored by the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race at Columbia University, conference attendees include academics, students and corporate executives from around the country. The roundtable panel includes four New School undergraduate students: Brandon Cardet-Hernández, Eugene Lang College; Richard Earl Harris, Gabrielle Williams, Kendra Nicole Miller, The New School for General Studies. They will present on the topic -- "Understanding Difference: Teaching and Learning 'the Other' in The New School Classroom". The roundtable takes place on Friday, March 31, 2006, at 11:45am in Room 601, 66 West 12th Street.
