BOB KERREY, INDIA AND THE NEW SCHOOL
On Thursday, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. in Wollman Hall, 65 West 11th Street, 5th floor, President Kerrey will discuss the highlights of his recent trip to India and explain how The New School’s expanding constituency there is an important breakthrough for an increasingly internationalized university. As part of a special presentation called Perspectives on Globalization and Democracy: India and China, he will be joined by Provost Ben Lee; Arjun Appadurai, John Dewey Professor in the Social Sciences and senior advisor for Global Initiatives; and Ashok Gurung, director of the India China Institute.
